Township of Uxbridge Approves Project

Today the Township of Uxbridge Council gave formal approval to the collaborative project they have been working on with the Uxbridge Skate Park Committee,  the Uxbridge Youth Centre and the Rotary Club of Uxbridge.  Starting in May 2010, these groups came together to start planning and fundraising to install a skateboard park in Uxbridge.  Recently,  the collaborative found out they were the successful recipients of a $150,000 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF).  Although the project is still seeking volunteers, support and funding for park enhancements, this new funding means they can move forward on the construction of this important project.

Sidewalks To Kennedy Fields

Sidewalks are now being put in along Main Street towards the future home of The Uxbridge Skate Park!  Each day we are getting closer to a permanent home for our highly anticipated Skate Park!

Tickets Now on Sale for Ramp Jam 4.0

Visit Uxbridge Youth Centre at 34 Brock Street West, to pick up your Ramp Jam tickets in advance.  The UYC is open every weeknight from 3 to 8pm and from 12 to 6pm on Saturdays.

A Date Set For Ramp Jam 4.0

It's official.  The highly anticipated "Ramp Jam" returns this summer on July 7th at the Uxbridge Arena, where you can help raise funds for The Uxbridge Skate Park. Bring your skateboards, scooters and bmx bikes to this action packed day that includes music, live bands, food, swag, prizes and so much more!

Design/Build Company Has Been Chosen

The design portion of The Uxbridge Skate Park has been awarded to Spectrum Skatepark Creations.  Spectrum is one of Canada's leading Skatepark Design/Build companies!
